FAQ
Straight answers for agency owners.
Everything owners and administrators ask before their first request.
Are you a home care agency? Do you take clients?
No. Kinging Care Services LLC is not a licensed home care or home health agency and does not provide care to the public. We supply staff to licensed agencies only. If you're a family looking for care, please contact a licensed home care agency.
Who supervises the aide?
Your agency does. Our aides work under your supervision and your plan of care. You keep clinical control, client records, and documentation.
Who is the employer?
Kinging Care. All aides are Kinging Care W-2 employees. We handle pay, payroll taxes, and Texas unemployment tax, and we pay overtime over 40 hours.
What's in the file you send?
A signed attestation that the criminal history check was done before first contact; NAR/EMR/SEMARC results; credentials; TB; CPR; orientation sign-offs; and EVV setup confirmation. See Vetting.
Which roles do you place?
Personal care attendants/caregivers, home health aides, and CNAs. Nurses (LVN/RN) are not part of launch.
Where do you place staff?
Denton and DFW first, then rural North and East Texas. Outside that range (for example, West Texas), we offer recruiting-as-a-service or direct hire.
How is pricing set?
Bill rate = aide pay + a stated markup, quoted per county and role. Example per-diem PCA: about $21–$22.50/hr (estimate). See Pricing.
Is there a minimum?
Per-diem shifts have a 4-hour minimum. Short-term contracts run 2–13 weeks. Recruiting-as-a-service has a 60-day first term, then month-to-month.
What if we want to hire the aide?
With temp-to-hire, conversion is $1,000 before 480 paid hours and $0 after. Direct-hire placements are a flat $1,500 (PCA/HHA) or $2,000 (CNA) with a 60-day free replacement.
We're Medicaid-heavy. Will this pencil out?
Medicaid PAS pays the agency about $17.13/hr, so per-diem is best used for emergencies. Recruiting-as-a-service or direct hire usually fits better, and we'll tell you so.
Do you set up EVV?
Yes. We set up each aide in your HHAeXchange, Sandata, or Tellus account, train them on clock-in/out and visit maintenance, and give you a one-page EVV sheet ($395 per agency + $25 per aide).
Will you market to our clients or poach our staff?
Never. We don't market care to families, and our services agreement includes non-solicitation and conversion terms.
When can placements start?
We're booking intro calls now. Placements begin once your written arranged-services agreement is signed and our launch checklist (legal review, insurance, payroll) is complete.
